Hello, I am a bit stuck because I can add a transponder to capture HD channels on 5W (12648 V transponder) but I have not the parameter symbol rate ... qqun can give me that info? Thanks jeans

Hi,
As explained above (in French) this transponder uses a professional mode of the DVB-S2 standard (ACM/VCM multistream) which is not supported by consumer receivers. The symbol rate is 29500 but this will not help wit a standard DVB-S2 receiver.
If you want to receive this transponder which carries 9 HD channels in the clear, the only equipment which allows its reception is a USB PC peripheral tuner TBS5925 (cost approx 200€).

There are also many italian TV channels (RAI and Mediaset) in the clear using the same system on this 5°W position.

TBS 5925 works fine on W7 or 8 and Linux,but doesn't work on Macs
and I hope you're familiar with computers because the set up can be a bit awkward
